Why do emotions feel automatic and uncontrollable? Does rational thought really control emotion? How does emotion affect disease? The brain is so amazingly complex and still largely a mystery. My conversation with Dr. Lisa Feldman Barrett, who is among the top one percent most-cited scientists in the world for her revolutionary research in psychology and neuroscience, provides a deeper understanding of the mind and brain, answering these questions and so much more.
